Darold Whitmer is the Founder and CEO of Public Safety Associates, LLC, a consultancy dedicated to helping public safety agencies navigate the complexities of transitioning to Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1).
With over 30 years of experience in the 9-1-1 sector, Darold has collaborated with organizations such as the FCC, FEMA, and the NHTSA National 911 Program Office. He has played a key role in negotiating numerous NG9-1-1 contracts, crafting Statements of Work, and ensuring contract compliance. Notably, Darold was heavily involved in launching the first live NG9-1-1 site in California.

Stephen Whitmer brings over 20 years of technology and leadership experience to Public Safety Associates, LLC, with a career rooted in advancing both public safety and enterprise technology solutions.
Stephen began his career in public safety as an engineer, installing PSAP technology for the Aurora and Denver Police Departments in Colorado, and later served as a leader within NICE Systems, supporting both Enterprise and Public Safety customers. As Vice President of Call Recording and Analytics at Wells Fargo, he led large-scale initiatives that enhanced data insights and operational efficiency in highly regulated environments. Stephen is currently serving as an Advisory Board Member on the University of Colorado Boulder, Leeds School of Business Customer Experience Certificate Program.
